Three Down and One to Go:
I have had questions and calls of late for a remedial teaching on the Four Blood Moons. Some of you may have read a book or seen someone on TV over the past few years but, perhaps it’s been a while and the details are a bit fuzzy. Since we have every reason to believe that September may be a very eventful month on a variety of fronts, I thought it may just be more expeditious to post this Mark Biltz video.
I first heard these teachings of Messianic Pastor/Rabbi Mark Biltz back in 2008 when I was researching the 7 Feasts of the Lord outlined in Numbers 29 and Leviticus 23. Most of the basic teaching on Hebrew Roots that I have written of in this blog were first learned from Mark Biltz. He does have an excellent website www.elshaddaiministries.us where you can get those dvd teachings on Hebrew Roots, The Feasts of the Lord and many others. All good and important to have in your personal resource library in my opinion. He has also written a book entitled Four Blood Moons which is no doubt available thru Amazon or his website.
A quick primer on the Feasts of the Lord for newcomers:
I believe that the 7 Feasts of the Lord are the lynch pin of Scripture. Much of Scripture hangs on the framework of these important feasts. They are all pictures of the Yeshua ha-Mashiach–Jesus the Messiah. These are the 7 annually celebrated, Big, Unmistakable,Word Pictures which God laid out for all of his people. Pictures that would ensure we would not miss the Main Event–the Coming Attractions! If you don’t “get” the Feasts you aren’t going to understand the seasonal timing and prophetic significance of much of the Old and New Testaments. Let’s get our Hebrew on!
Spring Feasts: Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits: All fulfilled when Jesus came the first time. He was crucified on Passover as our perfect, blameless sacrificial lamb, In the Grave at the Feast of Unleavened Bread and Rose again through the Power of the Holy Spirit as the “First Fruits of the dead” on the actual Feast of First-Fruits.
Yet to be Fulfilled Fall Feasts ( When Jesus returns in Power) Feast of Trumpets, Yom Kippur, and Feast of Tabernacles. Last September/October I wrote extensively on the Fall Feasts so, if you are a new follower or need a refresher course, I encourage you to dive into last fall’s archives and find: Fly Away Home, Escape Plan, Feast On and Pulse Points .
Let me just state, upfront, that I am in no way setting dates for the Lord’s return, advocating a specific date for the rapture of the Church, nor, am I proposing that the world will come to a screeching halt in the next few weeks. I am saying that we need to be aware of the flashing, God-given signs and signals that go hand in hand with Biblical Prophecy. I believe the Believers need to be in serious, constant 2 Chronicles 7:14 prayer for our nation to repent and for the safety and peace for Israel. Going forward, we will be forced to rely upon and to be led, moment by moment, by the Holy Spirit. This feverseason is liable to be a rough and rocky extended marathon: A prolonged race of faith as our nation and others come into a period of severe financial and geo-physical shaking. It is important as we do move into these prophetic times, that we not get hung-up in fear but embrace the knowledge that great shaking will be accompanied by great outpouring of the Holy Spirit to usher in an enormous revival and a huge end-times harvest. Like CPA’s before April 15th — This is our busy season so we had best get ourselves physically, literally, and spiritually prepared for what is coming. Get your spiritual running shoes on!
As we are coming to the end of a Shemitah year and our nation has continued to enact all sorts of ungodly laws that have been supported by the highest courts that America may find herself a nation under judgment with the protective hedge of God removed because of this continued rebellion. This is something that I have continually encouraged people to prepare for.( You can read more about the Shemitah in Lev. 25, 27, Numbers 36:4, 1 Kings 21:3, Ezk. 46:16-18, Deut. 15:12-15, Jer. 34:8-9, ) Shemitah’s end is the time when the financial blessing or releasing comes full circle and that proverbial slate is wiped clean. Please note, that we are currently celebrating the 7th Shemitah which is followed by a Jubilee year beginning mid September. The Jubilee has it’s own release of debt, slavery, land resting –obedience bringing blessing or financial reset that we see in a regular Shemitah year only BIGGER! Jesus is a fulfillment of the Sabbath Rest, the Shemitah year and He is our Jubilee. (Luke 4:18-19).
As you watch the video, you will see that Blood Moons falling on Feast days are a very rare occurrence. It is generally thought to be a sign that Israel will be involved in something momentous…in 1948-49 and 67-68 it meant an imminent war for that tiny nation. Similarly, Solar Eclipses are a sign to other nations portending something of Biblical proportions. (Acts 2:20, Rev. 6:12-14, Joel 2:1)
